Basil Red

Name:

Basil was originally named Adalie by her mother and given the middle name Flight by her father. After being taken into the kingdom, she adopted the name Basil Red, and forgot her old name at a young age.

Appearance:

Basil is mostly gray, but has light purple markings such as stripes going up and down her legs and tail, and and hourglass-like shape on her back. On the sides of her face are a large spot and a purple arrow. One of her eyes is normal, but the other has a slit pupil and is dark purple instead of white. Her nose is striped, and her ear insides are a similar color to her light purple hair.

Personality:

Because she was found outside the kingdom at such a young age, Basil acted very childish at first. She would always go on crazy adventures with her best friend, and when she was old enough, left the kingdom's orphanage hoping to become a sorceress. She slowly matured while being taught by Dove, a powerful sorceress within the kingdom, but was still awfully naive. What eventually led her to realizing that not everyone could be happy was the death of her mentor and the kingdom that she loved almost being destroyed. Over time she slowly became less outgoing and energetic and became calmer and wiser.

Other:

-Basil was found outside the kingdom after being washed away by the flood that killed her mother.

-She doesn't rember her parents or the cave she was raised in, and didn't really acknowledge Shadow until Bird told her that she was his child.

-Bird used to follow Basil around all the time and acted as threatening as possible, but eventually gave up and decided to protect Basil.

-Basil's dark purple eye came from her father, who has similar eyes.
